Finland to Acquire Iceye Spy Satellite for Space

The Finnish Defence Forces have confirmed a €158 million deal with Iceye Oy to procure a spy satellite system, boosting Finland’s independent space surveillance capabilities.

The deal, valued at around EUR 158 million excluding VAT, aims to enhance Finland’s independent space-based surveillance capabilities. This acquisition is expected to strengthen national security and improve real-time intelligence gathering from orbit.
